Emma is a Northern Irish writer who created and wrote all 8 episodes of the Hulu/Star/Disney+ UK comedy series EXTRAORDINARY, which was produced by Sid Gentle (KILLING EVE) and premiered in early 2023. She has written all episodes of series 2 of EXTRAORDINARY, which was released to strong reviews in March 2024. The show follows Jen, a young, unflinchingly self-aware woman who lives in a world where everyone has a superpower – except her. Emma began her career writing and performing sketch comedy and stand-up while at university, taking numerous shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She is an alum of the 2019 BBC Writers Room.

Namsi has written for HBO’s 4th season of dark crime drama True Detective, Season 3 of AMC and Channel 4's sci-fi drama Humans, Season 2 of HBO and BBC’s drama His Dark Materials and Sky Max’s sci-fi adaptation Midwich Cuckoos. She has also worked in the writers’ room for Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror. Her first co-written film, I Came By, was released on Netflix and was #1 in seven countries upon its release and her very first spec script, Brown Tape, made 2020’s Brit List, the British equivalent of The Black List. Namsi is currently writing on an upcoming show for BBC One and is developing three original TV series with companies including BBC Studios and Freedom Scripted. Namsi grew up in Manchester, England and worked in corporate banking before pursuing screenwriting full-time. She read Politics and International Relations at the University of Manchester and has completed an MA in Text and Performance at RADA.

The series went down a storm with viewers, with those watching on from home 'absolutely loving' the new quiz show. Also in 2023, Baz also embarked on a journey to track down Irish people who have moved abroad, and find out why. ‘The Best Place to Be’ on RTÉ One brought us to countries such as Spain, Norway, Italy and Hungary to give viewers an insight into what it is like for Irish people living in Europe. Nancy Harris is an award-winning writer from Dublin.
She is the writer/creator of the upcoming comedy drama series THE DRY directed by Paddy Breathnach (Element Films for ITV/ RTE) for which she was both IFTA and BAFTA nominated. She wrote two episodes of the Channel 4 series DATES for Balloon/C4, directed by Charles Sturridge and starring Sheridan Smith for which she was nominated for BAFTA Breakthrough Talent Award. Oher television credits include: SECRET DIARY OF A CALL GIRL (ITV/Showtime/ Tiger Aspect) for which she wrote the series finale and CUFFS for BBC1/ Tiger Aspect. Nancy also writes extensively for the theatre. Her plays include Somewhere Out There You. Two Ladies The Beacon, No Romance, Our New Girl, Love in A Glass Jar, BADDIES the Musical and The Red Shoes. She is a past recipient of The Stewart Parker Award for playwriting and The Rooney Prize for Irish Literature.

Emma Norton is a Producer at Element Pictures working across film and television. Emma joined Element Pictures in 2008. She worked as a Development Executive and Head of Development, before becoming a Producer in 2017 when she produced Paddy Breathnach’s feature film Rosie, starring Sarah Greene and written by Roddy Doyle. Rosie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received widespread acclaim.
Emma has since exec produced two series of Nancy Harris’ original comedy drama The Dry (ITVX/ RTE), the adaptations of Sally Rooney’s novels, Conversations With Friends, and the critically acclaimed Normal People, both directed by Lenny Abrahamson (BBC/HULU); and Shane Meadows’ period drama The Gallows Pole (BBC/A24). Her latest producer credits include Joanna Hogg’s The Eternal Daughter (BBC Film/A24) starring Tilda Swinton and The Souvenir Part II (BBC Film/A24/Focus) which had its world premiere at Directors’ Fortnight in July 2021 and Simon Woods’ BAFTA nominated short film Such A Lovely Day (BBC Film).
She has previously worked across a range of Element’s projects from What Richard Did, A Date for Mad Mary, and The Lobster, to Academy Award, Golden Globe and BAFTA-winning films Room and The Favourite. Before joining Element, Emma worked at Film4 and prior to that was a freelance script reader for a range of UK production companies and theatres, including Kudos, Scott Free, the BFI and the Soho Theatre.

Tony McNamara is an Academy Award-nominated screenwriter and playwright, whose most recent film “Poor Things” earned his second Academy Award-nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
The film marks the second creative collaboration between McNamara and director Yorgos Lanthimos, and it is the third collaboration for McNamara and star Emma Stone. “Poor Things” revolves around a young woman who is resurrected by a scientist and given a new life. The film released in theaters on December 8, 2023 and is the second-most Oscar-nominated film of the year.
Originally from Australia, McNamara's career began with his play, "The Cafe Latte Kid," and after a successful theatre career eventually transitioned into television writing, where he gained recognition with the award-winning series "Tangle" and "Puberty Blues."
McNamara’s unique blend of humor, drama, and social commentary can also be seen in the Academy Award-nominated film "The Favourite,” which was also directed by Lanthimos and starred Stone. The film earned him a BAFTA Award and Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
McNamara also penned the screenplay for the Academy Award-winning film "Cruella," which explored the origin story of the iconic villain, Cruella de Vil. The film also starred Emma Stone and received a BAFTA Award nomination for Costume Design and Hair & Makeup, Grammy Award nomination for Compilation Soundtrack, and Golden Globe nomination for Stone’s performance.
On the television side, McNamara created the Emmy-nominated and WGA Award-winning historical drama-comedy series "The Great", starring Elle Fanning. The series revolves around the tumultuous life of Catherine the Great, Empress of Russia. McNamara's writing on the series has been praised for infusing historical events with humor and contemporary wit and sensibilities, gaining him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. The show also earned Fanning two Emmy nominations for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

Mark O’Halloran is a writer/ actor from the west of Ireland. On screen he has appeared in numerous films, most notably as one of the eponymous heroes in ADAM & PAUL (which he also wrote), and the lead role of MP in History’s Future directed by Fiona Tan. He also appeared in Shane Meadow’s Channel 4 drama, The Virtues, for which he won Best Supporting Actor at the IFTA awards 2020. Upcoming projects include the feature film, The Miracle Club, alongside Maggie Smith, Kathy Bates, and Laura Linney. He will also be appearing in the Oliver Hermanus directed TV drama Mary & George, playing Sir Francis Bacon alongside Julianne Moore. Mark has recently appeared in Portia Coughlan at The Almeida theatre, London.
Writing credits include: The films GARAGE and Adam & Paul, the television series PROSPERITY, Viva a Spanish language feature set in Havana Cuba, and Rialto which premiered at the 2019 Venice Film Festival. His television work includes Sally Rooney’s Conversations With Friends. His work has been seen at Venice, Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Telluride and Sundance film festivals. For the stage he wrote the play TRADE, contributing text to the award-winning LIPPY, co-wrote Beckett’s Room for Dead Centre at The Gate Theatre. In 2021 he premiered two new plays, Conversations After Sex, at the Dublin Theatre Festival, (which won Best New Play at the Irish Theatre Awards 2022), and a stage adaptation of Bergman’s The Silence at the Stadsteater in Göteborg, Sweden. He also wrote the libretto for the Opera adaptation of TRADE, composed by Emma O’Halloran, which premiered at New York’s PROTOTYPE festival and late toured to LA Opera. It will tour Ireland in 2024.

Mounia Akl is a Lebanese director-writer based in London. She has an Architecture degree from Alba, Beirut and and an MFA from Columbia University, New York where she is also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Her first feature film, Costa Brava Lebanon (co-represented worldwide by MK2 and Participant, starring Nadine Labaki and Saleh Bakri), co-written with Clara Roquet, based on her short film Submarine (Cannes 2016) premiered in 2021 in the Official Selection of the Venice Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival and BFI London Film Festival where it won the Audience Award.
Mounia has recently directed TV in the UK (Boiling Point with Stephen Graham, and The Responder with Martin Freeman) and is currently developing her next feature film « Hold me if you want » and a TV show she has co-created with Clara Roquet, Francisca Alegria and Ugla Haukstdottir.

Kate is a Writer / Director hailing from Dublin. After cutting her teeth with no budget shorts and music videos she achieved recognition for her horror short Catcalls (2017).
Her debut feature, 2021’s “You Are Not My Mother,” another horror, this time about a young woman whose missing mother returns with a radically different personality, elevated the Dubliner to the next level. After premiering at TIFF, the film enjoyed a successful festival run that culminated in six IFTA nominations including Best Director and Best Screenplay. Since then Kate has directed episodes of AMC / RTE TV crime drama KIN, and BBC thriller The Tourist.

Charlotte Regan - Charlotte is a BAFTA and BIFA-nominated writer-director. Her debut feature SCRAPPER, starring Harris Dickinson, premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January 2023 and won the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize (for Best Fiction Film). In 2024 it was BAFTA nominated for Outstanding British Film and nominated for 14 BIFA Awards, including 5 nods for Charlotte for Best British Independent Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Debut Director and Debut Screenwriter. The film was developed with BBC Films/BFI and DMC Film producing, and was released in UK cinemas in August to critical and audience acclaim. Charlotte is currently developing her 2nd feature with BBC Film. Charlotte is also currently writing and is set to direct her first original drama series, MINT, which has been greenlit by BBC with Fearless Minds and House Productions producing. Charlotte will write all 8 episodes and direct.
Previously in TV, Charlotte directed the final 3 episode block of AppleTV original series THE BUCCANEERS, produced by The Forge and Potboiler, which made its global debut on AppleTV+ in November 2023. Charlotte most recently directed the closing block of season 2 of BAFTA-nominated series THE RESPONDER (Dancing Ledge), starring Martin Freeman for the BBC. She also created, wrote and directed 0121 for the BBC Comedy Threesomes strand (produced by Fudge Park for BBC3).
Charlotte's first short film, STANDBY premiered at TIFF and went on to be nominated for a BAFTA and win a Sundance Award. Her second short FRY-UP screened at BFI LFF, Sundance and Berlinale, and her third short DODGY DAVE played at TIFF and BFI LFF. Charlotte is a Sundance Ignite Fellow, a BFI Future Film and New Talent award winner and a 2020 Screen International Star of Tomorrow. In November, Charlotte was announced as one of the BAFTA Breakthrough cohort for 2023.
